It happens with Miqo'te/Viera already and I've never seen anyone complain about ears clipping through hair. It's such a minor issue, I don't really know why the dev team deemed completely removing the ears was acceptable. That's just way worse. I like using the flowers and head ornaments more than hats usually anyway. The dragon pins work on viera, and so do the beaded circlets, I think one of them is the scintillant ones.
