Sig p320 takedown lever stuck.

The stock lever chews up the side of the thumb when shooting. I have tried a couple replacement levers, and they provide a better rest for the thumb. However, when shooting, the lever rotates down (clockwise) about 1/2 inch, because the end of the thumb is behind the pivot point. Sometimes just turning clockwise while pulling will get it to come out sometimes is a twisting clockwise and counterclockwise plus pulling and wiggling. It’s not an easy push/pull thing. After firing about 15, one round failed to fully open the slide and the slide became stuck in the frame about 1 cm short of fully opening. The spent case did not eject and was still being held in the slide.

Instead of an "all at once" cam on the ramp, it's more gradual. That and some oil makes the lever work much better. There is still a minor friction when taking down the fully assembled 320. That friction is not present on the return path of the TDL. It's a weird problem. I'm out of ideas.

Of course the main issue is that takedown lever was not in the fully unlocked mode when that slide came forward. Now the takedown lever is probably pushing up on the slide, causing it to jam.
